I don’t wanna do the dishes,
\nI don’t wanna do the wash;
\nI sprinkled clothes a week ago,
\nAnd now my iron is lost!!<\/p>\n
I don’t wanna rattle pots,
\nI don’t wanna rattle pans,
\nI see the mail light flashin’,
\nI wanna chat with friends!!<\/p>\n
Oh the tables need some dusting
\nand the floor could sure be mopped;
\nBut I know if I get started
\nthere’ll be no place I can stop!<\/p>\n
The closets are so full
\nthings are falling off the shelves,
\nI wish for cleaning fairies
\nand magic little elves<\/p>\n
They could sprinkle fairy dust,
\nand twitch their little nose.
\nThe windows would be sparkling;
\nI would have no dirty clothes.<\/p>\n
Oh I know that I’m just dreamin’,
\nMy head is in the sky;
\nI must cook that meat that’s greying
\nand bake that apple pie.<\/p>\n
The Hubby needs a bath;
\nDoggy needs attention.
\nWait! The other way around I mean –
\nmy brain is in suspension.<\/p>\n
I am runnin’ round in circles,
\nI am gettin’ nothin’ done,
\nI keep thinking of my web chat,
\nI am missing all the fun!<\/p>\n
Well I know I’m not addicted,
\nThough I hear that all the time,
\nBut I guess this stuff can wait on me –
